The opportunity

• We don’t often have rare opportunities such as this role.  As a result of a promotion, we have a role in a stable, well respected niche area of business within our Construction and Engineering Portfolio.
• We would consider either an experienced Engineering Product Specialist/ Underwriter; a Civil Engineer or a construction industry expert looking for a thrilling career change where we can provide all insurance training.
• As a National Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our products across the country.
• Enjoy hybrid, flexible working, Auckland based role.

Your new role

In this dynamic role, collaboration is paramount. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to develop and implement the Product Business Plan, aiming for sustainable growth and an expanded market share. Your expertise will be crucial, from communicating with internal stakeholders to underwriting complex construction projects. You will also be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

What distinguishes this role? It's your unique ability to dissect complex civil engineering and construction plans, reports and contracts. This skill isn't merely valued; it's essential. As you contribute to ongoing product reviews and monitor portfolio performance, your keen eye for detail and understanding of technical intricacies will be indispensable.

About you
