Nursery Assistants - Harrogate

Position: Nursery Assistants

Location: Harrogate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Support qualified staff in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to explore and thrive.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Assist with daily routines, meal times, and maintaining a clean and organized nursery setting.
  • Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Depending on qualifications and experience, additional responsibilities may include supporting children with special educational needs, leading activities, or supervising specific areas of the nursery.

Requirements:

  • No formal qualifications required for entry-level positions; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
  • For roles requiring qualifications, candidates with a Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare are encouraged to apply.
  • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the nursery environment.
