Y2/3 Teacher

  • Position: Qualified Primary Teacher, Y2/3 Class
  • Type: Permanent Contract, Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Overview:

A wonderful French bilingual, independent primary school in the heart of West London are looking to permanently hire a Y2/3 Teacher to join their school from September 2024. This primary school is Ofsted Outstanding with 1 form entry and class sizes of around 15 children. The school delivers a high-quality bilingual education where the best of both French and English teaching methods are used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary school students across Year 2 and 3
  • Utilize diverse instructional strategies, technology integration, and hands-on/project-based activities to enhance student learning and confidence.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learner needs and foster an innovative learning environment aligned with school values.
  • Develop comprehensive schemes of work and yearly plans while ensuring curriculum alignment and adherence to school standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and meaningful assignments to students, supported by thorough assessment result analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records related to assessments, attendance, planning, and communication with parents/guardians.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, effective classroom management, and participation in parent-teacher meetings and progress reviews.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone Confident, with a flexible, 'can-do' attitude who is looking to become an integral member of the school community.
  • Ideally someone with 2-3 years of teaching experience,
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A caring and dedicated teacher who will create strong bonds with their pupils.
  • Applicants with a good knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Someone with a strong team spirit who will be able to work in tandem with the French form teacher. French and English teachers teach half a day in each- which is why you will be responsible for both Y2 and Y3.
