Job Title: HLTA

The Role: The successful candidate will plan the work for a team of around 5 staff to support children in a newly formed SEND classroom, meeting the needs of SEND children from across school. The main support will be for children in Reception - Year 2.

Start Date: September 2024

The successful candidate must have:

  • Phonics Experience
  • Must be willing and able to plan a range of activities meeting the different needs of children, so will need strategic overview
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt and respond to needs
  • Willing to manage a small team
  • Ideally, willing to provide intimate care to pupils with SEND if needed
  • They will get PPA time to plan and assess.
