Corporate Lawyer
SPEC Engineering is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company for oil, gas, and refineries and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Lawyer/Legal Advisor to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and contract negotiations. We require a proactive approach to legal challenges and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the organisation. Duties Provide legal guidance on corporate governance and compliance matters.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research to support corporate transactions and initiatives.Advise on regulatory issues affecting the organisation's operations.Represent the company in negotiations with external parties.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on legal strategies.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the business sector. Skills Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for the organisation's interests.Experience in Group StructuringExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in legal documentation.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.A UK qualified Legal qualificationExperience in a similar role Please note this is an office based role and you will therefore need to be able to reliably commute to Leatherhead, Surrey.
