Credit Risk Manager London / Hybrid working £100,000 - £110,000 + car allowance, bonus and good benefits This is a newly created role heading up the Credit Risk Team in London for a very reputable business that is experiencing growth. Supervision of 2 Senior Credit Analysts in managing credit relationships, facilitate and support the establishment of credit limits and monitor credit exposure in line with Global Credit Policy. Liaison between the different business units and group in the U.S. to establish and manage credit limits to meet business needs.Establish credit terms, methods of payment, and agreed level of exposure consistent with policy.Obtain and manage payment security as required by Credit EvaluationsProduce and monitor daily over credit limit report ensuring trading is conducted within approved credit, limit taking appropriate action where required.Support Collections, Finance, Marketing and Trading functions to ensure prompt resolution of payment defaults communicate & work closely with business units to mitigate credit riskCo-ordinate with customers and banks for required security such as Letters of Credit or Parent Company guarantees.Prepare and submit requests for Letters of Credit ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained; monitor draw-down against trade credit facilities with relationship banks.Monitor closely the termination of exposure and release of security to ensure that appropriate security is in place as required.Maintenance of online or paper Credit Files, with audit trail of Credit approvals, in compliance with agreed SOX processes.Maintenance of security held to ensure validity and fit for purpose.
