Average Workshop Manager salary in the UK

Quest Employment are looking for a Workshop Manager to join our Corby-based client and manage a team of up to 20 people. The successful candidate will have comprehensive experience in steel fabrication and managerial experience, so if you are an experienced welder who has progressed through to manager, this role is for you! Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Benefits: Private Health Care for yourself and immediate family. This is eligible after a 6-month employment period.Annual leave is 23 days + 8 days Bank Holidays per annum. Role - Workshop ControllerLocation - StockportSalary - £40,000 OTE £47,000Richard Abson Group are currently assisting a prestige car dealership based in Stockport in finding them an experienced Workshop Controller.Your role as Workshop Controller will be to oversee and manage the daily workloads for 20 Technicians, support the 7 Service Advisors to manage expectations and maximise the efficiency and performance of the workshop. You’ll be making sure all servicing work is carried out accurately, competently and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind.
