3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer

3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer needed to join our team on a permanent basis.

The opportunity:

This is hybrid roleand will also require a willingness to travel to various other locations as needed.

What you’ll be doing:

This position will provide project leadership and involve the following tasks/deliverables:

• This position will provide technical escalation and project leadership across a range of business solutions and technical initiatives.

• Managing business infrastructure/applications on premise and cloud

• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems as well as monitoring and maintaining core infrastructure.

• As a 3rd line infrastructure engineer working within a support team, you will provide mentoring to more junior staff and be responsible for resolving and assisting in resolving issues

What we want from you:

• Experience as a 3rd line infrastructure support engineer or similar role

• Experience with MDM solutions such as Intune, JumpCloud, Mosyle

• Experience with CheckPoint and Fortinet firewalls

• Experience with Hyper-V and VMware

• Experience with Azure, AWS and GCP cloud environments

• Experience and understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting,

• Experience with VOIP solutions such as 3cx, understand the SIP/RTSP flow and apply it to troubleshooting

• Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet.

• Experience with endpoint security products like Sophos, Countercept, Microsoft Defender

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• Basic scripting abilities, powershell, batch, python or bash

• ITIL v3 or v4 foundation

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent organisation skills
