Accounting Supervisor
An exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant to join a leading US law firm as an Accounting Supervisor.
The role will see you working alongside the Accounting Manager for Europe to be responsible for the preparation of entity accounts with management and alongside the firmwide tax function. This includes the preparation of financial documents including statutory format financial statements, audits and responding to external advisers.
Other duties include:
- Reviewing revenue and balance sheets
- Outgoing bank payments and budget input
- Ensuring all VAT regulations are adhered to
- Lead on HMRC initiatives and changes
- Streamline and enhance processes within the department
The perfect Accounting Supervisor will have a proven background in working in a fast-paced and challenging legal or professional services environment. You will be accountant qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) and have experience of working with European and Cross Border tax. You will also have knowledge of 3E and Chrome River.
