The role:

As the Accounts Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in our financial operations, maintaining robust cash flow and ensuring exceptional service for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

Key responsibilities:

  • Credit controller to outstanding and previous debtors.
  • Arranging Payment terms/ Credit Check.
  • Issue invoices and ensure timely and accurate monthly customer statements.
  • Bank Reconciliations.
  • Purchase Ledger.
  • Assisting with Accounts projects.
  • Sales ledger.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience of working in Accounts
  • Credit Control experience
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts
  • Good skills using Microsoft Office
  • Flexible approach to work to manage, prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
