I am looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with experience in Construction or Property Industry. If you're looking for to join a scaling company paving the way in the construction sector then this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, issue customer invoices, and track incoming payments.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Enter financial transactions, reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions, and maintain the general ledger.
  • Expense Management: Process employee expense reports and manage petty cash.
  • VAT Compliance: Handle VAT calculations and submissions.
  • Payroll Support: Assist in payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining documentation.
  • General duties: Support the finance team with filing, data entry, handling correspondence and other ad-hoc finance tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the Accounts Assistant role
  • Experience within the Construction or Property Sector
  • Proficiency in Excel, Sage and ideally Eque2
  • Currently studying AAT/ACCA or qualified by experience
