Accounts Assistant

Our client, a law firm in London, is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will manage their own tasks while also collaborating with a team for support.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payments (CHAPS, Faster Payments, BACS, International)
  • Informing fee earners of incoming funds and processing transactions
  • Daily client bank reconciliation
  • Posting disbursements and anticipated disbursements
  • Processing bills
  • Reviewing client ledger balances and identifying discrepancies
  • Assisting in clearing ledger balances and archiving matters
  • Addressing accounts queries from fee earners and support staff
  • Supporting the Accounts Manager as needed

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Solicitor Accounts Rules is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
