Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager

Salary £50,000 - £65,000

Butler Rose is pleased to represent a leading accountancy firm in Cambridgeshire seeking an Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager. This role is responsible for delivering high quality audit & accounts preparation as well as tax compliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small to large local businesses.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct high quality audits, prepare accounts, and manage tax compliance for a diverse client base
  • Regularly visit client
  • Communicate effectively with clients about their financial and business procedures
  • Ensure working papers and files are complete and ready for associate and partner review

Personal Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year, post qualified ACA/ACCA with experience in practice
  • Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and disclosures for small and medium-sized companies
  • Proficiency in FRS 102-1a
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Experience in planning audit work and knowledge of ISAs
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Experience mentoring and coaching staff
  • Comfortable communicating with clients
