An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join a well established accountancy practice in the Southend area.

Our client are looking for someone who has the following:

  • A high level of experience with Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to problem solve and implement change
  • Data entry skills & Administrative experience
  • General office skills

As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for supporting and providing day-to-day efficient clerical services to the team to meet deadlines and client expectations.

As an Administrative Assistant your duties will include:

  • Liaising with clients to gather information and ensuring the correct setup within the existing systems
  • Creating, implementing and updating spreadsheets and systems (Advanced Excel skills required)
  • Managing and maintaining trackers
  • Client database management
  • Communicating and coordinating effectively with various departments
  • Maintaining Company Statutory Registers (experience not necessary, training to be provided)
  • Complying with Company Statutory filing obligations (experience not necessary, training to be provided)
  • Answering of calls and cover reception
  • Carrying out other ad hoc admin duties

Please note that all candidates must be prepared to undertake a 30 minute computer based assessment.
