We are seeking an Innovation & AI Strategy Subject Matter Expert to join a leading financial institution, playing a key role in driving AI adoption and strategic innovation across UK and European operations. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in artificial intelligence, AI governance, and financial services, who can engage senior stakeholders and influence AI strategy at an enterprise level.

Key Responsibilities of an AI Strategy Lead:

• Lead AI strategy and governance initiatives, ensuring compliance and ethical implementation of AI solutions.
• Identify, assess, and oversee AI use cases, aligning them with business priorities.
• Engage with senior leadership to promote AI awareness and adoption across various teams.
• Develop AI-focused training programmes to upskill internal teams and enhance organisational AI capability.
• Monitor emerging trends in AI and financial technology to inform strategic decision-making.

Candidate Profile for an AI Strategy Lead:

• Strong academic background in Banking, Finance, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in AI strategy, governance, and implementation within financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with senior executives and bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Expertise in AI/ML models and analytics, with a strong understanding of their practical application in financial services.
• A proactive approach to innovation, with a keen interest in emerging AI trends and regulatory developments.
