Your responsibilities as the Assistant Financial Accountant will include:
  • Assist with the production of statutory accounts and regulatory financial reports.
  • Assist the external auditors when required.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and control of financial systems and ledgers.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end reporting packages.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare technical and non-technical accounting transactions.
  • Assist with internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Assist with the production and development of monthly and ad-hoc management reports, including meaningful performance metrics.
  • Develop and improve reporting processes.
  • Prepare monthly journals.
  • Undertake ad hoc project work.
  • Provide cover and assist other members of the Finance team where necessary.

To be considered for the role of Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be:
  • Studying towards ACA accountancy qualification.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and in Financial Services.
