Associate Consultant – £35,000-£40,000– Soho, London

The Role

We are looking for Associate Consultants to join our dedicated and collaborative team. You should ideally have some consulting experience gained in a boutique consulting company, but we evaluate each candidate on their own merit. The skills we most value are analytical ability, research capabilities, attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Consultant, you will be working with Project Managers and Senior Consultants to:

  • Undertake primary research into customers and competitors.
  • Detail the product portfolio of these companies.
  • Understand their size and ownership. 
  • Detail the scope of their geographic operations.
  • Detail the markets they serve.
  • Work closely with our interviewers to reflect their findings into your assessments.

Career progression


Strategic Analytics have a clear career path which is:

  • After 1 year - Senior Associate Consultant - £40-£50K 
  • After 2 years – Consultant - £50-55K 
  • After 4 years – Senior Consultant - £60-£80K 
  • After 5-6 years – Project Manager - £80-£120K

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Associate Consultant are:

  • Similar or relevant experience and are passionate about research.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to identify and gather information from different sources. 
  • Ability to synthesise such information.
  • Ability to critique information that you or others have gathered and use judgment to prioritise the most relevant information.
  • Ability to present such information in easy-to-understand formats.
