Associate Project Manager

As a Associate Project Manager, you will direct the delivery of small and medium projects across the energy systems space, and the role will support Project Managers and Programme Managers on delivering large, complex projects, and, sometimes, support the development of proposals.

In your first few weeks in this Associate Project Manager role, you can expect to:

• Manage small and medium projects and hold full responsibility for the delivery of projects to scope, quality, time and cost
• Provide support to Project Managers and Programme Managers on large, complex projects and programmes
• Prepare (with wider team inputs as appropriate) all management documents associated with project scoping, planning, project approval, deliverable preparation, stage gate review, etc
• Staff the projects, negotiating with the respective team leaders

• A degree or equivalent experience
• Understanding of key management topics, including Health and Safety, Data Protection, Intellectual Property, Contractor Management
• Experience managing the uncertainty inherent in an advanced innovation programme
• Willing and able to travel around the UK (and potentially overseas in due course) as required
