WHAT WILL THE BACKEND DEVELOPER BE DOING?

My client is a specialist consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. Trusted partners to the UK Government and as an cyber software engineer you will join you will form part of a team that research, design and build critical systems that protect and support our National Security partner's missions.

THE BACKEND DEVELOPER SHOULD HAVE….

• Python or Java or C# or Go and supporting backend frameworks
• SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Linux based operating systems - Ubuntu, Centos/RHEL, Android etc.
• Message brokering, serialisation and queueing systems
• Microservices, containers and hosts
• Infrastructure as Code - Vagrant, Ansible and Terraform
• AWS and Azure Cloud
• Git and version control systems.
• Currently hold or able to attain and maintain enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance.
