Position: Behaviour Mentor / Key Worker

Location: Hammersmith and Southall

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Role Overview:

As a Behaviour Mentor / Key Worker, you will play a crucial role in the lives of the individuals you support. You will work closely with young people to understand their needs, develop personalised action plans, and provide ongoing support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusting relationships with young people to provide emotional and practical support.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address individual needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions and progress.
  • Promote positive behaviors and coping strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A background in mental health, psychology, or a related field (degree preferred).
  • Experience working with young people with behavioral or emotional difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
