Academics Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in helping students overcome behavioural challenges, improve engagement, and foster a positive learning environment.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in guiding students and providing essential support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioural support to students in need, both one-on-one and in groups
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement strategies aimed at improving student behaviour and engagement
  • Offer positive reinforcement, guidance, and motivation to students
  • Track student progress, adapt support as needed, and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
  • Patience and empathy, essential qualities for working with students facing behavioural challenges
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting students
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide constructive support
  • Previous experience in a mentoring or support role (desirable but not essential)
