Business Partner Finance

This newly created Finance Business Partner will form a key part of the Finance team for a Rapidly growing Fintech firm paying £90,000 to £110,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus. Currently operating on 3 days a weekbased in the Heart of the City

Role

This Finance Business Partner Role will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with the CFO put in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.

• Leads, motivates and develops a small team of accountants responsible for business partnering and financial oversight of overseas businesses. Ensures we have a thorough understanding of the overseas business strategies and current initiatives.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the overseas businesses including country and regional CFOs and Finance teams, as well as stakeholders in the wider business including senior leadership.
• Oversight of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process and consolidation of the overseas entities ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results and balance sheets in accordance with the group financial timeline.
• Review and analysis of financial results, balance sheets and cash flow of the overseas entities including provision of detailed commentary for consolidated reporting of the International business.
• Support the overseas regions in the production of annual budgets and forecasts, working with the FP+A team in the UK and in accordance with group timelines.
• Acts as a point of contact for technical accounting matters. Oversees production of accounting papers for significant transactions for the overseas entities including acquisitions of entities and books of business.
• Provide financial support and guidance during business acquisitions specifically regarding technical accounting support, funding and implementation of systems and processes.
• Ensures effective reporting and monitoring of balance sheets across the international group..
• Oversees the development and monitoring of appropriate financial controls.

The Finance Business Partner for this Fintech Firm is ideally looking for

• A Practice Trained Accountant (ACA)
• At least 6 year's experience in a Business partnering role As well as Reporting duties.
• Someone from a Financial services background

Salary & Benefits

Salary is bench marked £90,000 to £110,000 on experience. Additionally, there is a Discretionary bonus and a car allowance, and the role is currently operating with a 3 day a week.
