Class 1 HGV driver

*At least 6 months road experience on Class 1 required*

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers on behalf of our client in Hatfield.

We require Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on full week basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. On some of the deliveries hadnball is required.

Class 1 HGV Drivers will require:

  • Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Minimum 6 months eperience.

Class 1 HGV Driver work will involve:

  • Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and opportunity to gain experience
  • 40-55 hours per week (on average)
  • Immediate start available
  • 2 hour assessment required (unpaid)
  • induction (paid)

Class 1 HGV Driver will receive:

PAYE Dynamic rates

  • Days between 05:00 - 22:00 £20.66 per hour
  • OT after 46.25h weekly £27.48 per hour
  • Nights between 19:00 - 05:00 £24.58 per hour

Shift pattern:

  • Thursday to Friday AM and PM
  • Friday to Tuesday AM and PM
  • Ad hoc days available

Weekly Pay - Every Friday

28 days accrued annual leave per annum (roughly 2.5 days a month)
