Job Description:

Do you have experience working within Clinical Negligence?

Are you a solicitor looking for a new challenge?

Our client is a specialist law firm with over 30 years’ experience within Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence and they’re currently looking for Clinical Negligence Solicitors Grade A-C to join their team.

If you’re passionate and possess strong experience in handling Clinical Negligence cases at all stages, then this could be the role for you. You’ll be joining a team of experts who really care and are dedicated to dealing with the highest severity of injuries.

You’ll play a key role in handling allocated cases from inception to trial, assisting junior team members, working on all aspects of pre and post litigation and liaise with clients, experts, and other parties.

Responsibilities - May Vary by Grade:

  • Running individual caseload
  • Providing support and guidance to the team
  • Proactive and commercial case management and progression
  • Effective and thorough time recording
  • Agreeing case tactics within the team
  • Identifying cases which are ready for LOC, settlement, and service
  • Coordinating the progression of cases with internal and external parties
  • Drafting of legal documentation
  • Litigation of claims as required
  • Negotiating settlement and the issuing and service of proceedings should it be required
  • Overseeing correspondence produced by the team

About You:

  • Recent experience of managing a case load
  • NQ - 8 years + PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Proclaim
  • Excellent client care skills
