GI Group are currently looking for a skilled CNC programmer to join one of our clients based in Wythenshawe.

Job Details:
£16.54
Monday - Thursday
6pm - 6am

CNC Programmer Responsibilities

* Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
* Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
* Inputting the product design into the computer modelling software.
* Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
* Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
* Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
* Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
* Cleaning and maintaining the machine.

Requirements
* High school diploma or Degree In Engineering
* Will consider CNC Programmers holding certificates or associate's degrees in engineering or
machining concentrations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, some mechanical aptitude, and strong attention
to detail.
* Previous work experience as a CNC programmer.
* Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
* Experience with computer modelling software.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline.
* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Ability to lift heavy objects.
