Position – Plant Fitter

Salary - £26,000 - £28,800

Location – Coleshill

Position Overview: Our client seeks an experienced CNC Setter/Operator with expertise in Siemens control systems and 5-axisCNC machines. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision parts to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines with Siemens controls.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Select appropriate tools and machine settings.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure parts meet quality and precision standards.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize processes.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies. 

Qualifications:

• Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator with Siemens controls.
• Skilled in 5-axis. Knowledge of 9-axis machinery would be an advantadge. 
• Knowledge of machining processes and CNC programming.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
