Company Secretarial Admin Assistant - City - £45k

Hybrid working, 09:00-17:00

Wise May are looking for a Compliance Assistant to join our client, an extremely busy Insurance company based in the City. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely team in a company who reward hard work.

Duties to include:

  • Provide assistance with the preparation of Board and Committee meeting information and packs
  • Responsible for scheduling Board and Committee meetings
  • Assist with review of governance arrangements
  • Attend and prepare minutes, as required
  • Provide support with regulatory reporting
  • Provide support in the maintenance and upkeep of various compliance logs
  • Perform sanctions and KYC due diligence checks as required
  • General assistant in the drafting and updating of policies
  • Provide assistance with ad-hoc Co sec and compliance projects

Skills:

  • Experience of taking and typing up minutes
  • Experience of company secretarial duties, including preparation of meeting packs
  • Ability to multi task and self organise
  • Strong analytical and problem solving approach
  • Team player, committed to further learning
  • Positive approachable and able to build good relationships
  • Able to demonstrate a keen interest in company secretarial and compliance matters
  • Proficient with MS software
