Control and Instrumentation Technician responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join our vibrant team.
  • Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through meticulous job planning for maintenance and repair activities.
  • Conducting preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and testing various types of control instruments and systems.
  • Assisting in the installation and retrofitting of control instruments.
  • Inputting data into our work management system.
  • Maintaining safety, fire, and gas equipment.
  • Assisting in the calibration and testing of plant vibration monitoring and shutdown systems.

Requirements:

  • You should have completed an apprenticeship (or other recognised training scheme) and hold a BTEC National Certificate (or equivalent City & Guilds NVQ/SVQ Level 3) in Instrumentation, Control Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas and COMAH Sites is highly beneficial.
