Credit Control Manager | £35,000 - £45,000 DOE | Blackburn | Broad exposure | Hybrid & Flexible Working

Axon Moore are pleased to be working exclusively on behalf of a rapidly-growing business as they look to recruit an ambitious Credit Manager to join the department. You will join a small and friendly team working in an exciting role.

The ideal Credit Manager will have a sound knowledge and proven track record in collections, people management, credit risk and aged debt. A willingness to offer a hands on approach and act as a key motivator for the credit control team is crucial. This is an excellent opportunity for a Credit Manager looking for their next challenge to make a mark on the business and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Setting up and reviewing the company’s credit control processes
  • Continue to develop credit control processes
  • Reviewing and consolidating payment plans
  • Overseeing timely allocation of receipts in settlement of invoices
  • Credit risk management
  • Preparing and reviewing Credit Control KPI metrics and driving performance
  • Reviewing sustainability and level of credit limits
  • Forecasting short and medium term cash collections
  • Relationship management both internally and externally
  • Leading and developing the existing credit control team
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Credit Manager or Credit Control Supervisor
  • Experience with developing and training employees
  • Self-motivated and confident approach
  • Structured and organized
  • Ambitious with a drive to succeed
