British Wax is a long-established family business, making specialised waxes for a wide range of consumer and professional uses such as candles, beauty, personal care, food and drink coatings. We have recently built a new HQ in Redhill, Surrey with parking and electric vehicle charging within easy walking distance of Redhill train station.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent attention to detail, while maintaining a high level of productivity and is passionate about delivering great customer service.

Job Purpose

As a key member of our friendly office team, your purpose will be to serve our current and prospective customers by ensuring customer orders are processed and delivered as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Hours

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately processing and dispatching orders.
  • Arranging distribution of orders. This involves high attention to detail at speed, processing information on several online systems and communicating with customers, colleagues and logistics providers.
  • Liaising between customers and our production team to provide a high-quality service.
  • Responding to and filtering enquiries in a warm and welcoming manner, whether by phone or email to existing and prospective customers.
  • Supporting the Sales team administration
  • General Ad-Hoc office administration duties as required.

Personal Specification

Essential

  • Previous experience in a customer service administration role is critical, ideally within a manufacturing company.
  • Excellent attention to detail, whilst maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Great people skills and desire to put the customer first.
  • Excellent personal organisation skills to deal with a high volume of administrative tasks and competing priorities.
  • Perseverance and ability to juggle uncertainty and customer expectations.
  • You will need to be confident with computer skills, and confident with learning new systems and software. with a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • An open attitude and willingness to continue learning.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • A flexible approach to work, enthusiastically working as part of a close-knit team, assisting customers and colleagues.

Desirable

  • Experience in a logistics role.
  • Experience using bespoke CRM software and / or courier portals
  • Experience with using online systems

Training

  • Excellent on the job training provided by line manager with a step-by-step guide.
