Job Title: Security Master Data Analyst (Asset Management)
Location: London 2x per week (Hybrid)
Salary/Rate: £500 per day
Start Date: 21/04/25
Job Type: 5 month rolling contract - Inside IR35

Company Introduction:
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Security Master Data Analyst to join their team for a five-month contract working at a leading Asset Manager.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
You will be responsible for working through a backlog of derived data items and working with internal stakeholders to sign off the logic and ensure the relevant operating model is in place to manage change and issues. They are looking for a security master data analyst to work on an outsource project, the immediate focus is on derived ratings and classifications, taking the logic for these from an existing system, documenting it to develop and then test the outcomes to meet requirements.

Required Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Strong Asset/Wealth management experience.
2. Knowledge of MarkIT EMD is a big advantage.
3. Asset management security master experience - particularly in relation to derived ratings and classifications.
4. Technical knowledge to distil existing codified rules into logical specifications and work with an outsourcer to deliver and test outcomes.
5. Define operating model for issue and change management.
6. Able to manage a pipeline of work independently.
7. Data analysis - knowledge of writing and reading SQL to support technical analysis.
