Urgent requirement for an E-learning Support Officer to start on a 7-month contract with a major Education Provider in Manchester

Overall Purpose of the Job

  • To work under the direction of the eLearning Manager (or delegate) to support the Library and the central support services in the development of innovative, e-learning activities, resources and support
  • To develop e-learning materials in support of projects which enhance the student experience
  • To maintain overall responsibility for the online element of the Library's skills programme(s)
  • To support colleagues in the effective use and understanding of learning technologies, practices and pedagogy
  • To proactively participate as a member of the Library's Teaching, Learning and Students team, including involvement in projects, team meetings and communications
  • This post is based within the Library's Teaching, Learning and Students team
