The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum. Their role will be to inspire younger students and help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

** Have substantial experience in the Further Education and Training sector

** Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (DTLLS, PCET, PGCE or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education)

** Have previous experience working as a Lecturer or Teacher and a successful record in retention and achievement

** Hold GCSEs in both Maths and English, at grade A-C or equivalent

** A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one

** Proven experience of consistently good/outstanding teaching

Responsibilities:

** Plan, deliver and assessing learners work, ensuring that all outcomes are met

** Develop and update course materials as appropriate

** Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with College policies

** Deliver engaging lessons and spread your passion onto the next generation

** Manage classroom behaviour ensuring learners stay on task
