Are you an independent individual who is able to work solo and is self-motivated New College Swindon are looking for an Evening Receptionist to join their team.

Location: Queens Drive Campus (SN3 1AH)

Salary: £8,373 - £8,451 PA

Job Type: Part – Time, Permanent (16 Hours Per Week, Working 4pm-8pm Monday to Thursday, 40 Weeks Per Year)

Evening Receptionist – The Role:

We are looking for someone to join us as an Evening Receptionist at our Queens Drive campus. You will provide a comprehensive and professional reception and administrative service for the College. You will welcome visitors to the College and ensure they are signed in correctly. You will be the first point of contact for students and visitors, dealing with questions and queries.

You will enter data onto College systems, answer incoming telephone calls and ensure the front of house hand-book is always kept up to date and fit for purpose. You will have experience in Customer Service and Receptionist responsibilities, able to manage time and prioritise workloads, you are an effective communicator and have excellent people-skills. Evening Receptionist - Key Responsibilities:

- To welcome visitors to the College and ensure they are signed in correctly with

appropriate Health and Safety guidance explained

- To be the first point of contact for students and visitors, dealing with questions and queries and directing people to appropriate parts of the college as necessary

- Entering data onto College systems

- Answering incoming telephone calls

- Ensuring the front of house hand book with processes and procedures is always kept up to date and fit for purpose

- To provide cover as required for other members of the Customer Services team including but not limited to, postal and administrative duties

Evening Receptionist – You:

- Experience of working in a Reception area

- Professional telephone manner

- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating ability to adapt to customer requirements

- Experience of using a Switchboard and re-directing calls

- Previous experience of working in a fast moving Customer Services environment

- Ability to manage time and prioritise workloads according to needs of the department

- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels

- Demonstrates professional conduct and acting as a front-line ambassador for New College
