Executive Assistant 

Our client, one of the newest and most vibrant departments within a prestigious higher education provider is seeking a proactive, organised and confident Administrator to join their executive office in this newly created role.

Tasked with supporting multiple senior faculty members with a variety of working styles, the ideal candidate will be friendly and open, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks successfully. An interest in current affairs would be a bonus!

Executive Assistant Responsibilities

  • Supporting multiple senior faculty members with diary and inbox management, event coordination, meetings, and follow ups.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the institution in person, via email or on the telephone.
  • Maintaining records and dealing with confidential information.
  • Booking national and international travel.
  • Providing administrative support within the faculty.

The Company

Our client is a vibrant department within a prestigious higher education institute.

Executive Assistant Experience Essentials

  • To be successful in this role you will have previous administrative or PA experience, either within a higher educational institute or a dynamic corporate environment.
  • You will be highly organised, adaptable, and confident working with senior academics or stakeholders with different working styles.
  • You will have experience drafting complex minutes.
  • You must be comfortable with complex diary management and previous experience booking UK and international travel.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of MS Office, and able to pick up new systems quickly.

Executive Assistant Location

This is a full-time, office-based role on a 2 year fixed term contract. For the perfect candidate our client may consider this on a part time, 0.8 basis.

Our client is based within an impressive building in the centre of Oxford. There is no parking available but the transport links are excellent.

The interview process is likely to comprise of two stages and a written task.
