Cedar have partnered with a global music/media powerhouse in their search for a Director to manage their RTR (Record to Report) team on a 16 month maternity cover for 16 months.

In this role, you will be have full ownership of managing a team of 28 with 8 direct reports and be available to start mid July at the latest to ensure a 3 month handover with the current post holder.

The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Manage record to report process team of 28 - 9 direct reports and ensure that the team functions effectively and efficiently
  • Train and develop team
  • Review RTR processes, implementing change where possible and adopting a policy of continues improvements
  • Ensure month end close activities are completed accurately and on time
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional CFO's
  • Serve as point of escalation and final approval - Reconciliation's, Journal entries, financial reports
  • Track and measure performance against defined KPI's and SLA's

Your Profile:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Managed a large RTR team - essential
  • Experience managing RTR process
  • Experience of working in a large/multinational business - essential
  • Strong team management experience
