Finance Manager

Hounslow, Middx (hybrid working)

£50,000 + bonus + bens

Based in Hounslow, Middx, our client, a dynamic division of a growing and innovative multinational business, are looking for a Finance Manager to provide support and leadership to their UK entity. This role will be working on a hybrid basis (2 days p/w on site).

This company has a superb track record of growth and innovation in an expanding market, with new a varied products across their portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager you will take responsibility for the day to day accounting within the UK business, managing a small team while providing support to the wider business.

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for preparation of UK entity management accounts, delivering to a strict Group deadline.
  • Ownership of UK entity P&L and balance sheet.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Business Partnering with the Global Finance team and other departments, acting as an enabler to get things done.
  • Assisting in Price Increase Calculation
  • Creation and policing of Customer Specific Price Lists
  • Daily UK Customer reporting
  • Assist the finance teams with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Deputising for and supporting the other team members as required.
  • Data input on different spreadsheets and databases, as well as other ad hoc tasks as required by the business.
  • Responsible for VAT returns.

The Ideal candidate for the Finance Manager:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience of all aspects of the financial management
  • Strong IT Skills with developed Excel and ideally experience working with SAP
  • Strong leadership and time management skills
  • Proactive team worker, self-starter, able to work well on their own without supervision on both strategic and operational tasks.
  • Excellent verbal, communication and influencing skills across a range of environments.
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills
  • A track record of partnering within an organisation to create efficient effective working practice supporting multiple stakeholders
