Finance Process Analyst - Statutory Ledger Remediation

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interim Finance Process Analyst to join our client's finance team. We are looking for a dynamic Accounting and Finance focused Process Analyst with a strong understanding of the differences between US GAAP and local GAAP in order to successfully support delivering a Statutory Ledger Remediation programme.

Job Description

• Run scenarios through SAP S/4 Hana, understanding limitations when it comes to the SAP system not being able to book that specific scenario as per the local GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Implement and enhance financial processes using SAP S/4HANA.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to optimise financial operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any issues.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team.
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Strong accounting background, with strong process mapping and process improvement experience.
• Strong knowledge understanding the differences between US GAAP and local GAAP (this can be any local GAAP across Europe).

• Experience using SAP S/4 Hana is essential.

• Strong stakeholder management skills - client needs someone who is proactive in offering suggestions for process improvement, and confident facing off to senior stakeholders.
• Fast paced environment - need someone to get up to speed quickly and turn around tasks efficiently.
