A leading global construction, design and engineering business is recruiting for a Financial Accountant with commercial experience. This is a highly visible role within a growing business, as the organisation looks to hire, grow and develop commercially driven finance people.

As the Financial Accountant, you will be:

  • Owning the month end process and working closely with a number of project stakeholders on spend, forecasts and budgets
  • Business partner with and support commercial and legal teams
  • Involvement with the impact and improvement on pricing strategies
  • Produce the management monthly accounts
  • Produce monthly financial summaries
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cashflow management
  • Develop and build on relationships with external advisors and stakeholders
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis with financial opportunities in mind
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns for UK and EU jurisdictions

This role is perfect for someone who is part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA looking for study support and is keen to work in a fast-paced environment. This will suit somebody with high ambition who can adapt to new challenges and is naturally commercially minded. Experience within the construction industry is desired but not essential.
