SF Group are excited to be working with a business based in Herefordshire on their search for a Financial Controller.

Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Herefordshire

Are you an experienced and hands on finance professional looking for a challenging role in a small business environment? We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in managing and optimising financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive business growth.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
- Generate regular financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity, making recommendations for improvement.
- Optimize working capital and manage capital expenditure.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
