Fleet Administrator

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Fleet Administrator to join our clients dynamic Fleet department. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day operations of their fleet, ensuring efficiency and compliance across the board.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Issue new and replacement fuel cards, update fuel card registers, and handle cancellations for leavers.
  • Generate fuel reports for high and premium fuel usage.
  • Maintain and update the Maintenance Planner, vehicle records, and driver files, including tachographs and logbooks.
  • Manage vehicle logistics, including arranging the delivery or collection of company vehicles.
  • Process penalty charges and coordinate with the Fleet Management company for various fleet-related actions.
  • Analyse telematics system data for over 170 vehicles, updating allocations and groups as necessary.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as providing order numbers to suppliers, assisting with invoicing queries, and maintaining accurate internal records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
  • Ability to plan, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Innovative thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • High standard of administrative skills with a systematic yet flexible approach to achieving objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
