Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience) & Bonus Scheme

Role Overview:

LEON has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Food Implementation Manager to join us and help us on our mission to unleash the power of good food and flavour!

Reporting to the Director of Food, you will play an important role in launching innovative new menus and partnering with the operations team to drive process improvements in our restaurants.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and an adaptable team player ready to take ownership of the role. You will confidently navigate the fast-paced environment of food retail, balancing various stakeholder needs while consistently meeting deadlines under pressure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• • Test and approve all new products, packaging, and equipment for UK and international menus.
  • Determine and validate cooking and preparation instructions, including equipment settings.
  • Drive equipment innovation and conduct testing.
  • Manage food implementation for UK and international menu launches, from scale-up to post-launch.
  • Create and manage restaurant recipe guides, product build documentation, planograms, and equipment manuals.
  • Innovate, optimise, and simplify food implementation processes based on operational insights and feedback.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and user-friendly library of operational documents.
  • Organise, launch, and manage food-contact trials.
  • Engage with operations, create and deliver applicable training.
  • Visit restaurants to monitor and support.
  • Collect and analyse feedback from restaurants, customers, and operations, summarizing trial outcomes.
  • Deliver training projects for the food team, including menu launch and food excellence training programs.

Candidate Requirements:

• Passionate about food.
• Extensive experience in a food service role (preferably in operations, NPD, or technical), demonstrating industry expertise.
• Highly organised and self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player who listens intently, understands stakeholder management, and is eager to learn and assist others.
• Proactive problem solver who is adaptable and embraces changes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes.
