Job Title: Full-Time Cover Supervisor

Location: Southampton, UK

Salary: £90-£120 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Role Overview: As a Full-Time Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
• Support students with their learning and address any queries they may have.
• Uphold the school's behaviour and discipline policies.
• Assist with other administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role or in education is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• A commitment to the educational and personal development of students.

Qualifications:

• Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Further education qualifications or a degree are advantageous but not essential.
