The Role As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support children with their learning and development. You will assist in lessons, deliver small group activities, and provide targeted 1:1 support to pupils where needed. This role offers the chance to work across different year groups, giving you a broad understanding of the primary curriculum in a positive and structured learning environment, and helping you to discover which Key Stage you are best suited to.
The Candidate This position is ideal for a graduate who is considering a future career in teaching. You should be enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to make a difference in the lives of young learners. Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff are essential. Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
