Head of Finance Business Partnering (12 month FTC)

Based: Central London (hybrid working)

£85 - 100,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

A well-known multi-site leisure business is recruiting a Head of Finance Business Partnering to lead the Business Partnering team. This is a high-profile and exciting interim role to cover a period of parental leave.

In this role you will lead the Finance Business Partners and work alongside senior finance colleagues to drive the finance teams strategic priorities. Your key stakeholder will be the Regional Operations Directors and they will rely on you to deliver accurate and accessible Management Information.

You will deliver high quality and relevant weekly trading and monthly exec reporting packs, and present to non-finance colleagues in operations and other departments; drive your stakeholders understanding of commercial issues affecting the P&L; deliver and strive to improve the quality of all site analysis and distribution of detailed reporting; establish credibility and work productively with stakeholders and provide them with relevant commercial insight; and support FP&A processes around rolling forecasts and long range / strategic planning.

Naturally, in this kind of role you will be involved in a significant number of ad hoc projects, pieces of analysis, sharing knowledge and driving best practice.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who is a proven strategic thinker and leader with the ability to partner senior operators. You will be able to build credibility with non-finance and senior colleagues effectively and deliver insightful commercial analysis to achieve strategic objectives. You will have advanced knowledge of excel and other analytical techniques.
