Head of Finance

Head of Finance | Retail company | £100K - £150K

This global retail organisation is looking for a competent Finance Director to join their offices based in Central London. As the Financial Director, you will be reporting to the CFO and directly manage the finance team.

Proven experience working within SME Retail brands post qualification.

Being the Head of Finance will be a varied role. You can expect to carry out the below responsibilities but not limited to:

• To provide strategic and proactive advice to Senior leadership team in all matters related to finance
• Analyses the performance of the business and improves the existing models to do so
• To ensure strong financial and regulatory controls are in place through the development and implementation of related policies, training and internal
• To develop and have overall responsibility for the operational delivery of the financial planning
• To provide high quality management information including monthly management accounts
• To meet all strategic KPIs associated with the Finance areas of responsibility
• To manage the finance team, developing team members, providing training and succession planning opportunities and carrying out performance reviews

Key skills:

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar
• Previous experience in Retail
• Strong Excel modelling skills
• At least 3 years experience managing a team
• Can work independently and is flexible not to be restricted to the job description
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with various stakeholders
