Head of Finance - PE Backed Energy Business

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance to join a fast growing energy business with ambitious expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:

As the new Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial operations for the UK division, while building a collaborative relationship with the Group business. This highly visible role demands a hands on approach to developing the UK finance function. You will drive financial strategy, ensure compliance, provide accurate analysis, and support the company’s growth trajectory.

You'll be pivotal in shaping the business's financial performance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified finance professional.
  • Experience: Proven leadership in finance within the energy sector or similar asset-heavy, fast-paced industries (infrastructure, facilities, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Strong financial acumen and hands on experience in daily financial operations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing finance teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Commercially savvy with the capability to deliver actionable insights for business improvement.
  • Adaptability: Willing to take on diverse responsibilities and adapt to evolving business needs.

What's On Offer:

  • Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including bonus & car allowance
  • Work Environment: Flexible working arrangements, including at least two days a week from home.
