Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the classroom teacher in setting up activities, encouraging engagement and providing general support. You will be supporting children in varying group sizes and on a 1:1 basis if required. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be regularly communicating with children, teachers and parents.

What you'll need to succeed You should have experience in a classroom setting within the last 2 years. You must hold relevant Level 4 qualifications.You should feel confident working with children in small groups. You will need to be professional at all times, as well as friendly and enthusiastic. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with staff, children and parents.
