Working Hours: 8:30 – 17:00
Reporting to Finance & HR Manager
If you are at the start of your HR journey and wish to further develop your skills and experience as a HR administrator, this is an excellent opportunity for you to join a dynamic team in a fast-growing exciting business.
The role of a HR Administrator:
- Being responsible for the initial onboarding of hired staff
- Liaising with managers and relevant departments to ensure onboarding is completed successfully
- Preparing personnel files and profiles on our HR system
- Managing and maintaining employment records and files
- Processing variation to contracts when required
- Creating HRMI as required, such starters and leavers data
- Liaising with internal departments to report new starters, absences, changes, holiday, and leaver information
- Issuing appropriate correspondence relative to changes in terms and conditions of employment and probationary periods
- Creating and returning references for former employees
- Ensuring compliance with company policy by exhibiting excellent attention to detail, working efficiently, and confidently questioning
- Supporting with all HR Administrative tasks as required
- Handling sensitive information confidentially
- Taking minutes at HR meetings when required
The right person for this role will be / have:
- At least 1 years’ experience in a relevant HR position
- Ideally you will be CIPD qualified at Level 3 or currently studying a CIPD qualification
- A desire to develop your HR career in a fast pace business
- Able to demonstrate confidentiality in a prior role
- Excellent communication skills
- Have an analytic mindset and a natural understanding of successful HR reporting and metrics to support the wider business
- Strong team player
- Strong IT skills, proficient in Excel and Microsoft applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
