HR Officer

The role is a Maternity Cover, Full-Time or Part-Time with a minimum of 3 days, 8 weeks holiday

Monday to Friday: 08:30am- 17:00pm (this is an all-year-round role, no term time)

Holiday: 8 weeks (to be taken during the school holidays) plus 8 days bank holidays per annum

Salary from: Salary dependent on experience (£32,400 to £35,100), pro-rated if working part time.

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, friendly and self-motivated HR professional to join our busy HR team on maternity cover. You will have had experience working confidently at HR Officer level, ideally within an educational environment. You will have experience of managing all aspects of the employee life cycle and of dealing with your own ER caseload.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hold a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification.
  • Have a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
  • Have experience of working as an HR Officer (ideally within an educational environment) in an efficient and pro-active manner.
  • Experience of managing all aspects of the employee life cycle an of dealing with your own ER caseload.
  • Be highly organised.
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Have the ability to prioritise and work accurately with a high attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication skills, particularly in speaking to others on the telephone and drafting emails.
  • Be able to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a busy team.
  • Be proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
